They Didn't Take Two of Each Kind
I believe that with Jesus Christ as our cornerstone, it is important to have a strong educational foundation of His Word to build upon.
This study guide has been developed in order to go slowly through Genesis and review what the foundation of His Word actually says. You will be using inspired scripture, and if His will desires it, to connect directly with Him on an individual basis.
The simplicity of this format allows each reader the opportunity to take the necessary time to walk with God and receive the clarity only He can reveal.
Enjoy God's timing and His Perfect Plan.

The Twenty Commandments...
Coming Summer 2010 |
Were there twenty commandments? No, however, there were four tablets, each with The Ten Commandments, that God delivered to His people. This is a snapshot of what Moses encounters when he descends from Mt. Sinai with the first set of stone tablets and his reaction to what he saw. "When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain." Exodus 32:19 (NIV)
Not until Exodus 34 do we find out about the second set of tablets. "The Lord said to Moses, "Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke." Exodus 34:1 (NIV)
It's been a humbling learning experience for me to learn from my Bible instead of relying on an actor in a movie to convey the true foundation of His lessons.
I invite you to take up your Bible, along with this study guide, and learn about all of the wonders that God has for you.
The Twenty Commandments will be available Summer 2010.
